Sylvia Richardson
Volunteer Artist
I was first introduced to Southbank Mosaics through supporting a group of Six Formers from The Charter School. I have a background in horticulture, theatre, fine art and special educational needs.
I have lived and worked in Lambeth all my life, as a teenager I worked for Lambeth council and as part of the arboricultural team planted some of the London Plane Trees just outside the front of the church and along the Southbank and St.Thomas Hospital. I have developed a real passion for mosaics; it’s a very therapeutic art form. At Southbank mosaics I can escape the stresses of the busy life.
