Portraits

In April 2011, Southbank Mosaics was awarded a grant from the Arts Council to create a series of mosaic portraits. This is to celebrate the achievements of significant women who have lived or worked in the Waterloo area. The portraits will be installed throughout 2012, on sites with close links to the women. Alongside this, is an ongoing project of portraits of prominent, inspirational figures in history. These have included personalities from Ghandi to Marilyn Monroe, and are on display at our gallery. |
